Waves of Time Creations
They say mom knows best, and in my case, she did when she bought me a watercolor kit back in 2009. I was 14 year olds back then; time flies! Growing up, I used to go out in nature and enjoy looking at things. Then one day, mom bought me a camera. From there, I took pictures of what I wanted to paint and grew a lot more. She really does know best! People have been saying to me for years, “Wow, I LOOOOOVE your work, you should go out there and sell it!” Well one day, I got tired and did just that. Sometimes, the best teachers are yourself because you get to learn your own techniques. That’s why I’m a self-taught watercolor artist. When I paint, I get so caught up in my work that time doesn’t seem to exist. I try to make paintings that show the complexity and beauty of nature in a simplified way.

I’ve been creating visual art since 1999, having my first solo exhibition in 2001 and numerous group and solo shows thereafter. I have completed many private commissions over the years and have continued to sell my work within Canada, USA, Europe and Asia. My artwork has received awards and publication both in print and online. For the past year I’ve been working on ink drawings on paper. I also use oil and chalk pastel often and create paintings in mixed media, acrylic and oil on canvas, wood, panel and paper. My work is intuitive and expressionistic in nature.

What started as a mom realizing the effects of putting chemical filled creams on her children’s skin, evolved into a small, locally owned, hand-made products business. “Summer of 2014 had started, and I hated putting sunscreen on my daughter’s skin, as it seemed to make her eczema worst. I decided to do some research and make my own sunscreen. Soon, my friends and family were asking me to make some for them and I realized that there was a serious need for better quality skin care products. Now I offer a variety of products, from Detox bath salts blend to soaps to bear balm to baby products and self-care products! I feel privileged to be able to provide this for people”. In order to have a better understanding of the causes of various skin issues, she enrolled at the CSNN to study in Holistic Nutrition and obtain her diploma, earning the title of Registered Holistic Nutritionist. Most skin issues derive from poor nutrition, food sensitivities, environmental and side effects from medications. “I feel that with this education, I am not only able to better help my clients by giving educated advice, but this will also allow me to create custom skin care products to alleviate some discomforts
